US Ground Invasion Being Considered? | Siege of Iran Day 5

Day 5 of the US–Israel siege on Iran and one huge question is back: Will America put boots on the ground?

Trump refused to rule it out, saying unlike other presidents, he won’t make that promise. The Defense Secretary floated the idea of a “special operation” instead of a full-scale invasion — no 200,000 troops, no 20-year occupation like Iraq or Afghanistan.

But here’s the problem: it’s deeply unpopular. Reuters polling shows less than 25% of Americans even support the current airstrikes — and those don’t cost US ground casualties. A ground war would be politically explosive, especially for a president who campaigned on ending wars.

Despite major decapitation strikes and heavy damage, Iran hasn’t collapsed. Missiles are still flying. The state is still functioning.

So now it’s a test of endurance:

Can the US, Israel, and their Gulf allies outlast Fortress Iran?

For now, Iran endures. I’ll keep you posted.
